I've been wanting to go back to the California Academy of Sciences since I took my 1st graders.
Being on constant lookout of 22 children, you don't exactly get the most relaxing/enjoyable museum experience.
But they have this thing called Nightlife.
It's only for 21+ so there are bars setup throughout and usually a band or some other special guest or show
But you get to do and see all the same things!
I got to see the Planetarium Show!
It literally blew my mind!
I highly highly recommend it. But get their early because seats fill up fast.

This is so cool! I'm a huge fan of science exhibits.
I went there when I visited SF last summer!! It was so awesome. & when you throw a little alcohol in the mix it have to be about 100% cooler!!
I loved the rainforest in the dome with all the butterflies!

My (Newly)Wed Life
How fun! Last time we were in SF we didn't have time to go but I've heard wonderful thinkg about it!
so cool! I'm planning on taking Belle to the kid friendly day time hours sometime this month :)
I know what you mean about the field trips, my favorite part of a field trip is afterward, heading back to school with everyone safe and accounted for. Glad you got to enjoy this space without students in tow!
That is the best thing I've heard of in a long time :) A time set-apart for adults to soak it all up!!! That museum looks fantastic :) glad you had such a great time!
That looks fabulous!!! I never went when I lived in SF...add it to the Bucket List for my next trip to the Bay :)
This looks like so much fun! I live across the bay so I need to plan a trip to visit here soon for sure!

I have a few friends in LA and I heard about this. So awesome!
How fun!! I wonder if there's something like this near me...
Oh my goodness..those photos are incredible. I would love to see this in person. happy Thursday, sunshine
!!!! we went here last Sunday in the morning and the line wrapped around the building... sadly we didn't wait and instead went to the top of that tower in your first pic.
I <3 all these pics and this looks superawesomefuntime
That is so cool! We have OMSI here (Oregon Museum of Science and Industry) that is very similar. I love going there and just realized they also have a 21+ night during the week, although now I live further away from it so can't really take advantage of that. It's a great idea though, because grown-ups like science too! ;)
