This is the neighborhood I will live in one day
My mom and I spent our last day in Paris wandering around the cute little streets and staring at the beautiful basilica and view.
And my that view! Absolutely took my breathe away!
Totally worth the thigh burning climb up the never ending stairs.
I can't imagine how beautiful it is at sunset.
(putting that on my bucketlist.
but since i'm moving here eventually it should be a problem :) )
We then stopped for a snack of (the best best best i've ever had) baguette and fromage
and were pleasantly entertained by a couple of older french gentleman who were having champagne for lunch
Like every man in Europe, falling head over heals in love with my mom,
They couldn't believe she was old enough to be my mother
and were very eager to hear if the 'Papa' was in the picture
(don't worry daddy, I made sure they knew you were only a plane flight away and can rip a phone book in half :) )

Gorgeous. I loved Montmartre. If you make it back to Paris, climb the arc de triomphe at night. It was my favorite view in Paris.
My dream is to live in Montmartre and own a flower shop... Fact: there's an entire label on my blog dedicated to Montmartre.

I adore Montmartre. It is such a beautiful area and has a wonderful vibe. Definitely where I'd choose to live in Paris as well! [or the Marais...it's a tough choice!]
