Paris is Always a Good Idea

Sometimes I wonder if the wonderful things about France and the French is a little bit of a hype
and little bit of a fad, especially in blog world.
But being in Paris last week, made me realize, it really is as amazing and the people really are a fabulous as it seems.
Literally everything there is amazing!
The buildings, the restaurants, the street lights, the apartment buildings, the food, the bread, the cheese the croissants(of which i had 5 a day)...
I could go on and on

And oh the people. The French just have it. Whatever it is. Their swag.
I was constantly just staring trying to figure out what makes them so fabulous.

The stereotype about the French being snobby or rude is so so wrong.
I have never been treated so kindly and helped by strangers like in Paris.

I'm moving to Paris.
Somehow, someday, even just for a few months.
I belong there.

{my mom left today back to the states. :( really sad.
and i start my first language classes today as well as move into my apartment. nervous.}

Paris is magical, right. It's only a 3hour trip away from where I live and I've only been there once, such a shame. After these photos I want to plan a new trip to Paris.

Goodluck in Barcelona, you'll do amazing! xo

I'm so excited for you! I love reading about your adventures abroad, makes me want to pick up my life and husband and go teach overseas. Paris is spectacular, yes it is often overhyped, but every word is true!

There are certain cites that are always overhyped. Paris is NOT one of them. Pretty much everything there deserves an 'oooh' or an 'aaah.' So happy you got to experience it with your mom!

I know you're nervous right now, but with your mom gone back to California, this is the time when you really get to impress yourself by doing all those things you might not have thought you were capable of :-)

I adore European treats {basically the bread and chocolate. I should probably add Nutella to the mix too.} Your pictures are beautiful!

I've heard that about Paris - that it is everything you dream that it is. I really want to go. I have four friends living there doing the language assistant program right now and they are having a blast. If you are ever interested in doing something like that let me know. Best of luck with everything... it'll take a few weeks to get settled but once you're into a new routine this will be so much easier!

Paris is always a grand idea! I love the city. To me they were always friendly too, but it always depends on how you treat them, and then they treat you the same way! :)

Love the pics.
