When Spain Goes on Strike...

 ...we got to the beach!

Last thursday all of Spain went on strike.
Which meant no classes!

Gabby and I had a perfect day at the beach.
I'm not exaggerating the water. It really was that clear and beautiful.
(which is not always the case in Barcelona)

It was the very first beach day where laying out in my bathing suit was actually enjoyable
and not just grinning and bearing it.

And yes those are mojitos brought to us on the beach like we're staying at some resort.
People sell everything on the beaches here.
The constant chant of
"Cervesa, Beer, Mojito, marijuana"
will forever be stuck in my head.

Ah yes I remember when classes were cancelled at least twice a month due to the strikes. Gotta love the Spanish agenda :)
