On the way back from Salamanca we made a pit stop in Ávila.
obviously i can't make a 2 hour car ride without going to the bathroom #smallbladderproblems
The medieval city wall was breathtaking.
It was such a strange and cool to walk through the wall gate into the city and have the feeling of the wall surrounding you.

I find it so strange that medieval, walled cities have become the norm for me. It's like, "oh look, another wall, whoopdedoo". Actually that's a total lie, I still freak out every time I see one and my husband looks at me like I'm a moron. I can't help it. They're amazing!
