By the time we were finished taking a billion pictures at the Pena National Palace we only had a little over an hour to trek over and up to the Moorish Castle.
As the sun was setting it was getting very cold and very windy, but still an amazing view and experience.
I´ve never been, but I imagine the Moorish Castle wall could pass for The Great Wall of China, or maybe not even close ;)

So beautiful! You're a fantastically talented photographer :) I'm actually moving to Madrid in September for grad school as well, and Lisbon and Sintra are up there on my list of weekend getaways. I explored the Algarve when I was there last, and it was stunning, but there's something about the architecture in Lisbon that fascinates me. Can't wait to check it out! x
