Maybe it's the power of my 'calm' word for 2013 or maybe it is the fact that I finally feel settled, comfortable, content and capable of living life here, but I've had very very very little anxiety since January.
It's a strange feeling not having the constant nagging or very large pounding of anxiety.
I really really like this feeling so I hope the opposite doesn't come back.
I obviously miss my family and friends tremendously but this experience has given me so much self-confidence and reassurance that I can do anything I want, step far out of my comfort zone, be on my own/by-myself and be just fine, content and happy.

That is awesome to hear. You are going for the normal stages of being an expat: the most important thing is that is your hapiness and the people you meet along the way
Un abrazo guapa!
That's such a nice feeling when you get to that place. Glad you're feeling that way!!
this sounds kind of like someone is getting close to making a decision about staying in Spain...?
Think of it this way- when you are old you can look back and say I took the leap. I took a chance and hopefully have no regrets. You took what life had to offer! I think you are very brave and such an inspiration to me! Get it, girl!
It's so true! You`re so brave for moving, in my opinion, and no matter what you will always have that :-)

So glad you are feeling better. It does take awhile for the anxiety to die down and to really enjoy life in a new place. Although it is hard to achieve that, it is so worth it once you do! And then it's time to leave, right - just about the time you are finally feeling home. It's hard trying to create a new life far away from your old life and loving both lives so much and having to choose which one you want more.
Me alegra leer esto...Es un proceso normal de adaptación, te sientes más: "como en casa".
It takes time but it finally comes..
"Semana Santa" is just right here!
I hope you enjoy it!
