Life Lately Through the Eye of my Phone

I'm getting the travel bug really bad.
Not having gone anywhere in a month is painful.
But it's also been nice to stay in Madrid, explore, meet new people and have some Madrid fun.
This week has been especially exhausting and overwhelming with Master's deadlines looming but it's also been equally fantastic.

And it's been snowing!!
(not sticking, but still big snowflakes and quite a bit of it. at least this california girl thinks so)
I was absolutely no use as a teacher the second the snow started falling.
My nose was glued to the window as all 26 kids clamored to the window behind me yelling and jumping up and down.
If it was my choice I would have put on their jackets and had a dance party in the falling snow.

I'm fully ready for some spring weather after this weekend of paper and thesis writing.
Happy Friday!!!
Happy Weekend!!
Happy March!

I've been dying to do a last minute weekend trip too. It's been exactly 1 month since our last but it feels like ages! I suppose that makes us sound spoiled... and perhaps we are!

Your little porch is a dream! And I get what you're saying about the doughnuts because every once in a while I get a doughnut for the little caffe here just to get a little piece of home. :)

AHHH I am the exact same way about snow. As soon as I see it, I literally shut down.

Also, I would die for a churro right now. I think that may be my great hunt for the weekend :)

It snows in Spain?!
I love churros- my stepmother is Spanish, and always makes sure we all go for churros if we're ever in Spain together. They're such a treat! x

I know exactly what you mean about the 'travel bug.' I have already planned 3 out of my 4 March weekends for weekend trips. This weekend: Memphis for one night.

I also heard that it "may snow" on us this weekend. I put that in quotes because I don't believe it.

Haha good luck this weekend with all your deadlines!

I just got home from a week's trip to Venice. It was heaven. I'm already ready for the next (Paris?).

I'm in the south of France and any time it snows (okay... only twice so far...) I get giddy and walk around like a goofball with a giant smile on my face. It reminds me so much of home! (I'm Canadian.)

P.S. I love your little porch.

Ugh I know the feeling - the travel bug when living overseas is so much more tempting! Great photos...I'm especially partial to the Mexican food. (ok and the donuts, who am I kidding?)
